I've got the freezer properly stuffed in anticipation of shoving off for Fiji but we had a bit of a set back. So, we've been taking a stroll to the little market and shopping for dinner every day. Our dining pleasure this evening was Menchi Katsu. A western dish that started in started in Japan which is simply minced beef (can be any ground meat) rolled in panko and fried. Served with sweet corn and buttered garlicky potatoes. A bit of Cabernet for the chef and bon appetit.
